Timiko Williams, LPC-S

Mrs. Timiko Williams is originally from Lambert, Mississippi. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Mississippi in Oxford where she majored in psychology and English. She also attended the University of Mississippi for her graduate training where she earned a Master of Education in community counseling.
Mrs. Williams is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 15 years of clinical
experience treating various mental health, adjustment, and life-transitional concerns with clients of all ages and backgrounds. In addition to being an LPC, Mrs. Williams is also a Board Qualified Supervisor (BQS) for licensure supervision of LPCs, a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and a Board Certified TeleMental Health (BC-TMH) provider.
Her clinical expertise includes the assessment and treatment of various mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), substance abuse, and insomnia. Mrs. Williams is a subject-matter expert on the treatment of PTSD and is certified in several first-line evidence-based psychotherapies (EBPs) for PTSD, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Written Exposure Therapy (WET). She has also received advanced training in Cognitive-Behavioral Conjoint Therapy for PTSD (CBCT), an evidence-based approach for treating PTSD that includes patients’ family members in the treatment process. Additionally, Mrs. Williams is an experienced provider for victims of military sexual trauma (MST) and race-based stress and trauma.
Mrs. Williams provides individual, couples/marriage, and family counseling. She is licensed in Mississippi and is currently accepting new patients.
